I can roll over!

What a big week for William. He had his first week at daycare and learned how to roll over from his back to his tummy! He loves his daycare lady and really loves all the other kids. When we drop him off he gives all the kids big smiles and can't wait to get out of his car seat. We couldn't be happier with our in-home daycare and it really makes dropping him off three days a week so much easier.

What a BIG BOY!

Lot's of changes are happening in the Sorgenfrei home! Mom went back to work on Monday August 8th and camp Dad is in full swing during the evenings. Mom's first week back to work was a smooth transition thanks to Grandma "Mimi" coming to town. Mom was able to leave for work without having to take Will to daycare for the first week. Will starts at his in-home daycare on Monday August 15th.

Mom is always so excited to get home from work and see Will. He is always fast asleep but Mom sneaks in a kiss and waits for him to wake up in the morning!

Will and his Daddy already have so much fun in the evenings together. They enjoy playing, throwing the kong for Abby, watching TV and bath time. Will does miss his Mom at night be he sure does love spending time with his best bud, Dad!

On Friday, August 12, Will had his two month shots! He was given a total of 5 shots and 1 oral medicine. He did so wonderful and only cried for a few minutes. He measured out at 26 inches long (90th Percentile) and weighed 12lb 10oz (60th Percentile). He is healthy and growing! Will decided to wear his tough SHARK outfit to the doctors office!

Will continues to be a great sleeper and is sleeping for 10 or more hours straight at night! He still loves to be swaddled and really enjoys a BIG stretch once he wakes up.

On August 4, 2011 Will turned 2 months old! We can't believe how fast time is flying. What a big boy he is becoming and we love watching him grow. Here are some photos from Will's 2 month "Birthday!"

Will loves his Binky but has recently fell in love with his THUMB! :)
This is how we found him one afternoon....his thumb and blanket.

A Growing Little Boy......

We can't believe that on August 4th Will is going to be 2 months old! He is growing so fast and changing so much. We are really starting to see his little personality developing.  Will is looking all around, turning his head from side to side, holding his head up, smiling, laughing, standing when we hold him, grabbing/hitting his toys, sleeping great, eating over 5oz every bottle, holding his head up during tummy time, rolling onto his side, and sooooooo much more! We are so proud of our little guy :)

Kerry meets Will!
Our friend Kerry came to meet William. Will loved smiling at Kerry and even gave her a few giggles!

Trying so hard to roll over.....
Will is so close to rolling from his back to his stomach! When we lay him on his play mat he always ends up on his side. In the mornings when we take the swaddle blanket off  of him, he squirms around until he is on his side!

Tummy Time
Will's favorite thing to do during tummy time is to kick his legs. We will lay him on his tummy on the play mat and within a matter of minutes he has pushed himself across the mat! He has such strong legs!!!

We are truly loving parenthood and can't imagine our life without William! We hope you all are doing great and we can't wait to see you all soon.

Love,
The Sorgenfrei Family
