HATS, HATS, and more HATS

7 WEEKS OLD

Mom decided to have a "photo shoot" with Will and his hats. Mom loved doing it but Will wasn't much of a fan. He is growing so much and it's so much fun to dress him in his cute outfits. Mom is loving her time at home and can't believe she goes back to work on Monday, August 8th.

Dad loves when he gets home from work and Will gives him a big smile! Will really loves his Daddy and lights up every time he sees him.

Will is growing like a weed and seems to do something new everyday! He is now "talking" all the time, giving a little giggle when he smiles, and turning his head from side to side to look at everything! He loves to look at the TV but his favorite thing in the house are green flowers on our fireplace mantle. He is starting to roll onto his side in the mornings when he wakes up and loves a good stretch! Tummy time is fun in the mornings and he is really getting the hang of it.

Mimi (Grandma Nancy Kraft) was able to come stay with us for a few days while Bucky (Grandpa Lyle Kraft) was traveling. Will had such a great time snuggling with Mimi and really loves when she sings "6 Little Ducks" to him. Will couldn't get enough of the song and laughed every time!

WILL LOVES TO SLEEP
Will has his sleep schedule down! One nap in the morning and one in the afternoon....then it's to bed around 930pm and sleeping until 630 or 7 am!

I love my OVERALLS
Mommy had fun taking tons of pictures of Will in his first pair of overalls!

Will's weekend in Kansas City

Will made his second road trip to Kansas City and had a blast staying with his Grandparents. Will was able to meet his Uncle Robb and Aunt Sara as an added bonus! The majority of the weekend was spent inside as it was 100+ degrees. Will really enjoyed playing on his play mat with his cousins Evan, Carter, and Caydence. He sure was Mr. Happy as he couldn't stop smiling at them!

Will continues to sleep GREAT and we are thrilled! He loves his bedtime routine that consists of a bath and a warm bottle! He even slept great at "Mimi and Bucky's" house while on Vacation.

We have also noticed that Will really loves being outside. He tends to be very fussy in the evenings from 6pm to 9pm...but once we step outside he instantly stops crying and begins to look around. Will is also loving his dog, Abby. She will come up to him while he is laying on the ground or in his swing and Will immediately starts to smile and laugh once Abby starts to sniff/lick him.

Will made a trip to the doctor on 7-25-2011 and weighed a whopping 11 lbs 5 oz! What a growing boy!!

Will also really likes Julie, our neighbor, who can't wait to Babysit baby William!!

6 weeks old!

We can't believe that 6 weeks ago our little man was born. It was by far the best day of our lives and we are so in love with him. It's been such a great 6 weeks and we can't believe how much he is growing! Will really loves to smile at us and it melts our hearts. He also has really caught onto our voices and listens to us when we are talking. Will even recognizes his Daddy's voice on the phone. Brandon called home from work one day last week and Will was crying. I put the phone on speaker and Brandon talked to Will. Will immediately calmed down and looked at the phone!

Will is busy holding his head up! We are so proud of our big boy and love watching how strong he is getting. He loves to stand on your legs (with help of course) and is really pushing off with his legs/arms when you are holding him. Will has also started to roll onto his side from his back. We are waiting for the day when he rolls all the way onto his belly. He really does enjoy his tummy time and loves looking at himself in a mirror while laying on his belly.

Will also enjoys laying on his play mat. He has started to hit things with his hands and even grabs some of the toy rings that are hanging. He also loves his vibrating swing and found out he can even get a pretty good nap in the swing.

Will has really caught onto his night time routine and sleeping. Every night we give him a bath (which he LOVES) and a warm bottle before bed. Once he is swaddled and the sound machine is turned on, he's fast asleep! We were even lucky enough to have two nights in a row where Will slept from 9:30pm to 5:30 am. Of course Mom didn't sleep much those nights, as she was in and out of his nursery checking on him!

Smiles, Smiles, and more Smiles

Nothing melts our hearts more than seeing Will smile at us. He has really started to show his personality and loves to smile. Every morning when Will wakes up he gives us a big smile.....what a great way to start our day!

Smiles :)

Will has really started to catch onto his bedtime routine. Every night we give him a bath which he loves. Once he is done with his bath and getting his PJ's on, he knows a bottle is waiting and then it's to bed with a full belly. Will is such a good sleeper for a 5 week old. On average he is sleeping 5 to 6 hours at a time before waking up to eat. Once he eats his 5oz he goes right back to sleep for another 5 hours! We are feeling pretty lucky and hope this keeps up!

My crazy outfit after my bath...watching Dad making my bottle!

Mom only has 3 weeks left before she heads back to work. It will be so hard but we are super excited for Will to be with his Daycare. We have decided on an in-home daycare with a Lady who's husband works with Brytten. We just love the family and are super excited for Will to see other kids every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for 4 to 5 hours. Mom will have Thursday/Friday off from work and Dad will be off work on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

The Faces of Will

5 WEEKS OLD

Content

Happy

We can't believe our little man is 5 weeks old today! We love watching him grow and have really started to see his personality. Will has began to smile at us which melts our hearts. He has also started to "talk" to us by cooing. We love cooing back at him, waiting for him to respond! He has really started to notice his "Sister" Abby. He loves watching her black tale wag all over the place. Abby loves to give Will kisses and stays very close to him while he lays on the floor or in the swing.

4th of July

Will had his first road trip over the 4th of July. We headed to "Mimi and Bucky's" (Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Lyle Kraft) to spend the Holiday weekend. With all the flooding we had to take back roads to Kansas City....which added extra time to our trip. Will did wonderful and we only had to stop once during our 4 hour trip. Once we got to Kansas City Will was greeted by his Kraft boy Cousins, Evan and Carter. Will had a wonderful time meeting everyone that watched his mom, Brytten, grow up when she was a baby.

Will got to meet the Warrens- Annie, Kent, and Baby Bo
